Elise N. Mimms
Elise N. Mimms has extensive experience in personal injury, entertainment, and business law. She has successfully collected over a million dollars in settlements in civil litigation matters, including but not limited to car accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death. She handles matters from pre-litigation through trial, advocating for her clients in depositions, mediations, and winning policy-limit trial verdicts. As a business law professor, she is an expert in business formations, planning, and structures.
Earning her B.A. from the University of Mississippi, she graduated cum laude with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Legal Studies. Ms. Mimms attended The University of Mississippi School of Law, where she served as a Dean’s Leadership Council member and Managing Editor of Mississippi Sports Law Review. She also served on the Public Interest Law Foundation and Black Law Student’s Association boards.
As a member of the Trial Lawyers Division of the American Association of Justice, she is driven by client-focused advocacy while using exceptional legal knowledge and skill. She prioritizes building meaningful relationships with her clients and always has their best interests in mind.
Her professional and personal philosophy includes giving back in ways that make a meaningful impact on the youth and underprivileged communities. She enjoys traveling, sporting events, and spending time with family.
